# Tap

> Wearable keyboard, mouse, and controller. Type, click, and gesture on any surface without a traditional keyboard.

Tap Systems makes Bluetooth wearables that replace a keyboard and mouse. Current products are TapXR (wrist) and Tap Strap (fingers). TapBand is coming soon and uses the same SDK and BLE API as TapXR, so code written for TapXR also runs on TapBand. Developer SDKs for Python, Web, iOS, and Android work with Tap Strap and TapXR today.

## For developers

Build apps that receive taps and gestures from Tap Strap and TapXR. On the TapXR developer firmware, TapXR gets every Tap gesture: taps, thumb swipes (left, right, up, down), thumb-to-finger pinches (index, middle, ring, pinky) with hold, and fist with hold. TapBand (coming soon) uses the same SDK and BLE API. Python, Web, and Android receive the raw gestures; iOS and Android add a processed click, drag, and drop layer (on iOS through tapXRAirGestured).
